This is pretty much the first song we could convince Christin to sing loud enough to do a harmony live. Having her singing with us adds a whole extra dimension! I'm excited to see what the future holds with her offering a second harmony to the group.

As Briscoe Darling (from the Andy Griffith Show) would say, "If you've got time to breathe, you've got time for music!" Here's the chords so you can play along too:

(G)What a fellowship (C)what a joy divine
(G)Leaning on the everlasting (D7)arms
(G)What a blessedness {C}what a peace is mine
(G)Leaning on the ever{D7}lasting (G)arms

(G)Leaning (C)leaning (G)safe and secure from all a(D7)larms
(G)Leaning (C)lean-ing (G)leaning on the ever(D7)lasting (G)arms

Oh how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way
Leaning on the everlasting arms
Oh how bright the path grows from day to day
Leaning on the everlasting arms

What have I to dread what have I to fear
Leaning on the everlasting arms
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near
Leaning on the everlasting arms

As sisters, we've known eachother since, well, forever. We've always enjoyed messing around musically, and in 2011 Bethany picked up the mandolin and we played our first bluegrass-gospel-y gig.
