This song is in a minor key. Super fun! Lucky for you I'm sharing the chords along with the lyrics.... There is a (Am)time for love and laughter, The days will (C)pass like summer (Am)storms; The winter (C)winds will follow (Am)after, But there is (Dm)love (Em)and love is (Am)warm. CHORUS: There is a (Am)time for us to wander, When time is (C)young and so are (Am)we; The woods are (C)greener over (Am)yonder; The path is (Dm)new (Em)and the world is (Am)free. There is a time when leaves are fallin', The woods are gray, the paths are old; The snow will come when geese are calling', You need a fire against the cold. (CHORUS) So do your roamin' in the springtime, You'll find your love and a summer sun; The frost will come and bring a harvest, And you can rest when the day is done. (CHORUS)

about

Our singing is merely a fun little hobby, as was the recording and design of this cd - which we put together ourselves. Although we've sang together in the past, it wasn't until fall of 2011 that we discovered this style of music as our own and put together a bluegrass gospel music set. Friends and family that showed interest in our music continue to encourage us on to discovering more songs and more music.

Big thanks go out to our family for being so encouraging, and for teaching us so much in our lives. Our parents and siblings, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and niece. Thanks also to everyone in the band Jacob's Journey as we'll always know it, no matter who comes and goes - Bill, Loren, Larry, Ken, and Judy. And thanks to all our other friends who have helped us along musically in many ways - teaching and giving us tips on singing and instruments, asking us to perform places, cheering us on at gigs, and recommending songs. But of course thanks mostly to God. Every song on this cd is about Him, so without Him to sing to every track on this cd would be missing.

about

The Tanis Sisters Michigan

As sisters, we've known eachother since, well, forever. We've always enjoyed messing around musically, and in 2011 Bethany picked up the mandolin and we played our first bluegrass-gospel-y gig.
